Note: The access_token and refresh_token cookies are httpOnly, meaning they cannot be read by JavaScript in your browser. They are only sent automatically by your browser with API requests, which protects against cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
3. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use your browser's localStorage (which is not a cookie and is never sent to our servers) to store:

localStorage data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
4. Cookies We Do NOT Use
To be clear, MimicReader.ai does not use:
- Tracking cookies — no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar
- Advertising cookies — no ad networks, no retargeting
- Third-party analytics cookies — our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is completely cookieless
- Social media cookies — no social login, no social sharing trackers
- Profiling cookies — we do not build profiles of your behaviour
5. Cloudflare Cookies
Because our website is served through Cloudflare's CDN, Cloudflare may set the __cf_bm cookie automatically. This is a bot-management cookie used to identify legitimate traffic and protect our site from automated attacks. We do not control when or how this cookie is set. 6. How to Manage Cookies
Since we only use essential cookies, disabling them may prevent you from logging in or using the Service. However, you can manage cookies through your browser settings:

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (which we currently have no plans to do), we will update this policy and implement a proper opt-in consent mechanism before doing so.
